Question about Canon iR 2016i Black and White Copier
Canon ir 2016
Fixing film has become displaced
Check the fuser the film ( usually brown ) that heats up and melts the toner to the paper is either torn or has moved to one side. this is a pain in the neck to fix, it use to take me 2-3 hrs to replace the film and on top of that most of the time you end up wrinkling the film or tearing it or it moves to one side and gets damaged!!!! that was my personal experience, well after doing that 3-4 times I just ordered the whole fuser and replaced it ( company was not too happy, but, when they see you going out 2-3 times for one machine for the same problem not much they can say !!
