Question about Audiovox XV6700
I bought this phone off of ebay and it was supposed to be professionally flashed for service through Cricket. I got through the code to get in the system and followed all the steps that they sent me (I've got my MIN, MDN, and SID numbers) but the screen still pops up under Verizon and when I hit *228 to let the phone program it says to call verizon's 800 number.....the esn has already been added to my cricket account. Can anyone tell me what I'm NOT doing right? after pressing the *228 it should automatically go to cricket and I should be able to use my phone......I'm thinking maybe the phone is not entirely flashed over....any suggestions??
Sounds to me like the phone was built for Verizon and programed for them. You might not be able to change that. Call the 800 number.Good luck

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

Thats all you will need for your PPC to communicate with your computer/vice versa.

Tap the "EV" or "1X" icon on the top of the today screen, and then tap settings. Select the Wireless LAN, and then tap the icon in the bottom left corner that looks like a target with parenthesis. That just got you to the communication manager. There you can toggle your "phone" on and off, as well as bluetooth, wireless and sound, among others (depending on what you have installed). when you tap the antenna for wireless, does it turn green, and the little "x" go away? That's what you need to figure out first, after that we can go look at some other things....
