Question about Fuji FinePix S3000 Digital Camera
Just a quick note to see whether any of you fine folks have run across / solved the following: After not using my camera for a few months, I fired it up, only to find that it shows the last picture I took, along with a dialog informing me that the date/time was not set. None of the buttons seem to work (ie. I can't make a choice to either set the date/time, or skip). The buttons do depress, they just seem to have no effect. The camera does this regardless of whether the memory card is in it or not. New batteries make no difference. Turning the camera on in Playback mode or Camera mode makes no difference. If anyone may have run across this issue or have an idea as to its eventual solution, I'd love to hear it. :)
This is a firmware failure. Fuji Technical Support need to know about this. a replacement may be possible.
