Problem for Sony CMT-HP7 CD Shelf System
Owner of a Sony CMT-HP7 Shelf System - how to hook up iPod Nano??
Please help - I purchased my Mother an iPod (4g NANO) for Christmas and need to know how she can hook up the iPod to her stereo system to use it as I do at home. With mine all I needed was a AUX Cable and that was it (my system not Sony) Can anyone help? I want her to be able to enjoy ASAP! Please note that she is interstate not technically minded and need to be able to run through it over the phone. Appreciate any help and thanks in advance

Looks like you need a short 3.5mm jack to twin RCA lead. The RCAs will be colour coded red and white, so your mom can put them in the right sockets on the back of the Sony, with the 3.5mm plugging into the iPod. There'll be an option on the remote or the front panel to select 'Audio In' or 'Aux in' or similar.
