Question about GE (PSS26MSRSS) Side by Side Refrigerator
I have a GE die-by-side refrigerator, model number ESS25LGNA WW. It has been freezing everyhing in the fridge. I initially tried moving things around in the fridge and lowering the temperature to 1 and it did not make any difference. I removed the EPS FF Inlet Asm and disassembled it to learn the the door had broken. I attempted to super glue it as a temporary fix to see if that was indeed the problem. I believe that it was. It was fine for the first day, but now I'm back to 25 degrees in the fridge. My questyion is this... would merely replacing the entire asm solve my problem? I can't believe they do not sell that little door individually. What could cause that little gear driven actuator to rotate the door with such force to break it? Thanks, Pat
I had that problem in my refrigerator and found out that it was coming from the freezer. The thermostat in the freezer broke and it was crazy freezing in the freezer part as well as freezing in the refrigerator. Once we replaced the thermostat everything was fine. It cost me $125
