Brookstone Mylife 3.5" digital photo album freezes

I have a Mac OS 10.4.11 and I used the photo resizer software that came with the frame to resize and load my images onto the frame. It said that my images were succesfully resized/loaded, but then it freezes and I get an hourglass icon in the upper left hand corner of the screen, and I have to reset the device and delete my images in order for it to not freeze again. Brookstone customer service had never heard of this problem before, but I tried it on 3 different frames, and the same thing happens. Has anyone else had a similar experience or have any advice on how to solve this problem?
