Question about Viper Security and Remote Start System (basic install included)
Around the end of October I began experiencing the following: the car would just stall for no apparent reason. When it stalled the door locks would unlock an the instrument lights would go on. If I was going slow when this happened I would have to put the car in neutral an restart it; if I was on the highway the car stalled out the the door locks would unlock an the instrument lights would go on and the car would restart on its own, I'm sure this is due to the speed of the car at the time. I felt it had something to do with the remote starter. I returned to where it was purchased. They checked it and felt that they could not confirm what the problem might be. Well it's been about seven weeks and the car has been fine. It may have been a short or something that they unknowingly touched, which corrected the problem. Anyway the problem has returned. Do you have any ideas what the problem could be? We have several of these units on various family cars and never experienced anything like this. please advise,
Finaly had to replace the ignition swich on my S10 Blazer, that solved my problem , that was after Circuit City said they had no idea what the problem was, they worked on it every week , until I figured what was wrong with it.
