No water comes out. Everything else "seems" fine. We worked over an hour trying every possible thing.

Before going to the trouble and expense of a service call and/or new pump, check that the plug underneath the water tank is working correctly. Lift the tank off the machine and bring it to the sink. Push the inside of the plug under the tank, and water should squirt out (if your tank has water in it). If it doesn't squirt, unscrew the plug and try to get the springy thing inside to spring. Mine was stuck, and once I got it moving again, everything was fine. Just screw it back in, put the tank back on the machine, and see if it works. The small solution tank has one of these plugs as well, so if you have any troubles there, check out that plug too.

After replacing pump water comes out in short squirts. It seems to come out of pump in steady stream but short squirts at nozzles including hand held.

Check your filters. Flow Indicator Filter: Turn Flow Indicator Cap counter-clockwise to remove, lift rotor and filter out. Clean filter and replace in reverse order.

We have a Bissell Proheat 2X (model 8920). The problem we are having is when water/soap is initially released (all settings) it continues to leak out the front water spray nozzles unit the water...

Return it. It is faulty and should not do that. Mine does not. Does require changing water about evrery 10 minutes but one can see the filth in the water. Also re-clean with plain water over areas that were cleaned to remove all cleaner. Old cleaner in carpet to dirt is like a bug attracted to a bug zapper. It can be time consuming, but it will pay for itself and can do a great job if you pay attention when water or cleaner runs out, otherwise it will not clean properly!

After three months of use it stopped releasing water from the bladder. I have a bissel proheat 2x model #8920

sound like the pump fail, it will also cause solenoid to fail and need replacing 19.00 bucks pump and solenoid 11.00 bucks, easy and cheap to replace yourself. go to provac.com for parts. even if you get both part but one still working it good to have that extra part laying around since you going to keep the vac for awhile.

There is probably a bad solenoid in the machine that controls the water out to the floor, you would be better off taking it to a repair place because it is a big mess of hoses and wires.

I have a bissell pro heat water wont come out

The pump may spin but the vanes inside could be broken or worn enough that they are unable to push water through the pump system. I am repairing a Bissell Model 8920 Pro-Heat 2X that has this very same problem.

I tested all the hoses to verify that they were not plugged. I then hooked the water and cleaner tub from the rear directly to the pump and held it above the pump assembly and water barely went through it with gravity feed and the pump was visibly spinning. The pump assembly can be acquired from AE Carters for $10.00.

I do not give any guarantee that this is the only problem.

Bissell 8920 won't release fluids at the rollers

I have an 8920 ProHeat 2x as well with the same issue - no spray at the rollers. Seeing that the hand tool worked I checked the finger switch for continuity and it was good. Turns out the red spray heads that clip into the unit just under the water tanks were the culprit. I popped those off and ran a paper-clip through them from the front. I must have contaminated the fresh water tank while emptying the grey tank. Works better than ever now, just thought I'd share what my issue turned out to be.
