Kitchenaid Superba Model KBHC109JSS05 stops functioning

When not in use and when it has not been in use the microwave emits a single beep. When I attempt to set cooking time it will not set. Again it emits a single beep. If I flip the breaker and then turn it on again the microwave then functions properly. Any suggestions?

It sounds like you have a bad computer board, when you shut down the power and turn it back on you're resetting the computer and it will work and then fail after a while.the parts are big money for this unit,200 dollars and up,you can get a basic microwave new for like 250,the micro computer is almost 500 dollars

what about the freezer?. Check door seals with a dollar bill, close the door with the bill in different spots, if bill comes out to easy then seals might be bad or a door adjustment is in order. Make sure the coils underneath or behind do not have a layer of dirt on them. Try these simple steps and let us know thanks

SOURCE: kitchenaid superba refer side by side

its normal for the temperature to stay around 28 degrees farenheight int the bottom drawer. (fresh cut meat keeps better at his temp). you can adj the temp slide near the bottom of the refrig next to the botom drawer to help adj temp. veggies will almost always freeze in the bottom drawer. also adj the temp controls to a little bit warmer to help as well.

Keep in mind the mid point settings on your refrig is just a starting point for you to adj to where it works best for you and your usage..

SOURCE: over tempature reset keeps beeping

its registering a warm temp, you reset it but when it checks again in 2 hours or so its still seeing a warm temp whichi s why the alrm is going off, id look at the contents of the refrig for signs of defrosting, icecream not hard enough, ice maker not producing and melting, moilk spoiling premature, butter too soft.

I'm not familiar with that particular model, but with many of their models (and many other manufacturer models as well), unfortunately the beep cannot be turned off.

Kitchenaid superba combo. Microwave gives

HI, this is an indication of a failed door switch. When the switch fails, the control cannot recognize the closed door signal. Simply replacing the door latch mechanism will solve this issue.

Replace the door latch assembly, asap.

Have a kitchenaid superba part no. 4450786A with the probe indicator beeping for a temperature to be set. Prior to beeping started just used microwave to warm food; didn't need or use probe. What is...

Put the probe in the oven and beeping stopped. Left it in overnight and next morning took the probe out and there was no beeping. Have not heard beeping all day. Don't know why this worked but it did.
