Coach Purse I have a coach purse I'm not sure how to tell if it's real or not my husband bought it for me for Christmas and gave it to me early. Is there possibly a web site explaining how to tell?

You can tell by the lining if it is crooked or frayed. If its numbered there will be a number and stamp on the inside. If the zipper is high quality. If it has a coach leather or brass tag attached to it with the logo on it. Also real ones usually come with a dust protected inside and the buttons, the hooks, and the loops will say coach.

I'm not sure why you have posted a solution to your own problem. But yes those are ways you can tell.

1. If it is a signature piece, the C's will start centered and go out from there. If it is leather, it will feel buttery smooth.
2. The stitching and hardware. The stitching will be tight, even and straight. There should be no loose strands or restitching. Most hardware is stamped Coach, like the snaps or buckles. You may have to really look for the stamp, like on the backs of buckles. The hardware is not cheap looking nor will it peel or crack.
3. The hangtag. It is usually leather, the same color and stitching as the bag itself. The Coach lozenge is raised from the tag, not embedded into it. On my bags, the lozenge is only stamped on one side of the tag. There are a few styles that come with metal hangtags. But, look at the metal hangtags at the link below to see what they look like. Most counterfeit come with cheap, shiny silver hangtags.
4. The lining. Signature bags never have signature lining.
5. The zippers. Coach uses YKK zippers. The logo is usually found on the side of the metal zipper pull. Coach zipper pulls are either leather, the same color/stitching as the bag or a series of metal rings.
5. Unless it is a small piece, like a wristlet, there is a creed and registration number on the inside. It is a leather patch sewn into the lining of the bag. The creed will be written in justified, capital english letters. The abbreviation No. is followed by a letter, then a one or two digit year code. For example, 6 for 1996, 06 for 2006. After the year code is another letter or one or two digits, the a dash. The numbers after the dash are the style number of the bag. If it is a factory store bag, it will either have an F before the style number or a bullseye stamp in one of the upper creed corners. If it were bought through a resale store, like TJ Maxx, there will be an X stamp on the creed.
However, counterfeit bags copy a lot of these details, so to tell the difference, you have to know the real thing. You can go to an authorized dealer to familiarize yourself and/or see the link below. On this authenticating page, there are tips and pictures of real and fake to help learn the difference,

Hope this helps

I have questions anyone someone help please!?!?

There is nothing we can suggest here. You need to work with facebook directly. Or setup the facebook account under a different email address, then ensure that your privacy is set to where only friends and no one public can view the profile. This way unless someone is her friend no one can see her pictures or information to report. This would still be considered an active profile.

Someone is selling a small bag from Louis Vitton. It has a serial number M 51980, I don't know if it is authentic or not. Please help me regarding my problem.

Hi,

Here are some tips on how to determine whether or not the Louis Vuitton product is authentic or not.

Instructions:

1. Look to see if your Louis Vuitton Monogram Canvas purse comes with a yellow authenticity card, a tag or canvas sample swatch attached anywhere to the item. Louis Vuitton has never used a yellow card, nor has it ever attached tags or canvas swatches to any item in any of their lines. If your purse has any of these items, it's a fake.

2. Look at the handle of your purse. Louis Vuitton never covers the handle with tissue paper or plastic.

3. Look at the leather details on the purse. It should be a pinkish-flesh color when new and a light, honey brown when aged. It should never be yellow or dark brown. Any leather trim will also have yellow stitching.

4. Check to see if your purse has a base or bottom that has been sewn on. Authentic Louis Vuitton purses are made from one single, unbroken piece of leather or canvas.

5. Look very closely at the seams of the purse. Are any of the "LV" monogram symbols cut off? Louis Vuitton never cuts into the "LV" on a monogram canvas item. Regardless of where the individual monogram symbols appear on an item, they should all be whole. One possible exception is on the Ellipse.

6. Turn the handbag around and look at the back. The monogram symbols should be upside down. If they're not, the bag is not an authentic Louis Vuitton Monogram Canvas.
