Question about KitchenAid KDRP463LSS Dual Fuel (Electric and Gas) Kitchen Range

Kitchenaid KDRP463LSS - No electricity to oven

The oven was working one minute, then just lost all electricity. The display went dead, oven lights won't come on, and heating elements no longer heat. It's as if someone turned off the circuit. All wiring, circuits, and breakers have been checked, the unit is getting a full 240 volts AC. The electric ignitors for the stovetop burners are working, but nothing down in the oven. Anyone know what the problem may be??

Pull the range, remove the back cover and locate the thermal switch and the oven TOD. Check both parts for continuity. Replace any of them if it's open.

The thermal switch

Need part number for BBQ option to replace griddle

You will need the model number & serial number which may be on the back of the cooker on behind the plate under the oven door, then contact the manufacturer or agent. Reece HVAC are also a very good source to obtain parts from.

Feature not available

I had the same problem with a new kitchenaid range which they have agreed to replace after 1 month. Oven shut off a couple times while baking and feature not available displayed when trying to turn on oven again. I tried starting clean cycle and waiting a couple minutes for element to heat then cancelled clean cycle. Oven worked fine after this but this shouldnt be a solution, obviously something not wired right.

Burners Work, but Oven Won't - Display Dead

The oven elements may be burned out or the switch. Usually if you have an electrical outlet, it gets power from the oven circuit. See if the outlets are working, replace the fuse (sometimes you can't tell it is burned out. Depending on age, you may have to replace elements. Not likely both are gone. does it work on Broil or Bake? You could also, unplug the stove and carefully remove the back cover and look for wires that are dicoloured...or burned.
