Oven will not stay on

I am able to preheat my oven but then once it is pre-heated it will turn off within a couple of minutes. The red at the bottom stays bright. Any suggestions on what to do to fix it??

replace the control. or try turning the breaker off for a few hours.

    Replacing it usually fixes it.
Resetting the breaker only fixes it 4% of the time

Oven wont bake

If this is the design that the oven will click to light they generally will preheat but shut down once they go to standard bake. The oven will try three times to relight but then shuts down and will not try to light again until you reset the oven. If this is the case the oven burner itself is usually the problem. the burner comes with the electrode.

BOSCH HBL3450UC Single Oven weak/slow pre-heat

I have a Kitchen Aid convection wall oven. It takes 6 - 7 minutes to preheat to 325 degrees. You probably have a bad element. There are 2 elements.

I used the Self Clean function on the oven and now the oven will not pre-heat or heat at all. All that happens once the clean is complete is that the clean light blinks. I have cycled the self clean...

unfortunately the reset button is usually inside the controls compartment, the upper back piece has to be opened and push the red reset button inside.Hpefully this helps and dont forget to unplug first for a couple minutes to attempt erasing fault

Seems to be taking a long time to cook

To preheat oven just select the temp you intend to cook at and wait until the red light goes out,it is then preheated
Then you can put your food in and carrying on cooking.
Yes you do put it on fan symbol, but make sure it is on the right one , as some ovens have fan only as well as fan and heat.
Plz rate this solution.
thanks.

Thermador double oven / Bake wont work /FC code flashed once

I found I have this exact problem. Same bake preheat issue: I can bake if I set broil first. However, the oven doesn't work if I press bake first. The control board has already been replaced a couple times over the years. Is this another replacement??

Kenmore oven - Not heating up

Check the BACK of your temperature knob for an adjustment. I was ready to replace my heating elements when I accidently discovered the adjustment. Made the adjustment and no more problems. My oven now stays within 4 degrees of settings.
