When I try to send or receive text messages with pictures attached I receive the following error message, "Unable to download. Message 35. Try again later." Not sure what the deal is. Any suggestions? My plan in through AT&T, however, I did purchase the unlocked GSM phone recently.

Hi, to be able to send picture messages from your phone your MMS (Multimedia Message) must be activated first. Depending on your Service provider example. for MTC users just send a text message saying 'MMS' to 1251 and you will receive your setting automatically just save the settings and when they request a password enter '1234' or '0'. For other Service providers please contact your call centre and ask for your MMS to be activated and follow the simple instructions given by your service provider.
I don't know who your carrier is, but many require a data plan in addition to the text/SMS service to be able to send/receive attachments like pictures. This seems to be consistent with the error message you are receiving. Do you have a data plan on the phone?
I think the problem here is with your connection. I understand that you have the right settings from your operator...however you should check with them to see if your line is data enabled for MMS (this is how your pictures are sent....in an MMS message).
