Like problems I usually solve with the help of a tool, which I had found out many time ago. But recent issue I could determine only with the aid of a tool from Inet. It would relieve in this trouble too - fix rar.

WinRAR is a program to open rar files. You can do a websearch for it and download for free. This program is what I use to open rar files and it works great. Hope this helps.

How to view corrupted rar?

RAR is the native format of WinRAR archiver. WinRAR tool is not only used to create RAR file but also used to repair corrupted RAR file or fix corruption from them. Whenever WinRAR fails to extract data from RAR archive, it means the archive is invalid or corrupted. You can repair the corrupted RAR archive by using the built-in repair feature of WinRAR application. All the required steps are shown below:
Solution #1
1) Open your WinRAR application.
2) Click on File tab and then click on Open archive. Or simply press Ctrl+O.
3) A new small window "Find archive" will be appeared.
4) Now locate your corrupt RAR file from the system directory and then click on Open.
5) Click on Tools tab and then click on Repair archive. Or simply press Ctrl+R.
6) Again a new small window "Repairing FileName.rar" will be appeared.
7) Now Browse the location where you want to save the new repaired archive.
8) The box "Treat the corrupt archive as RAR" is checked by default. But if it is not, then do check it.
9) Click on OK. The repairing process of selected archive will be started.
10) Once it is successfully completed click on Close.

To attempt to resolve this issue you can scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "help". this button should be at the very bottom left hand side of the page. Once the next page appears, view the possible problems and follow the directions. Any further problems send me a message back so that i can finish helping you with this problem.

Any file that is a RAR file isnt a media file. Rar files are basically winzip files. You can use WINZIP 7 or WinRar to to open and extract Rar files. Go to www.Download.com tand search for WInRAR.Once you find it, download and isntall WinRAR> Use WinRAR to open and extract the RAR file you need.

Sounds like something viral to me. If you are able to connect to the Internet I would suggest downloading and running a tool called combofix. Information on how to use it and links to download are here. I've used this on several XP systems to get rid of some nasty stuff, but never had to try it on Vista yet. If the trouble is not from a virus but just because something else has thoroughly screwed up the registry, you might have to restore your system.

Home vista to open corel files

If you try to open the file with Microsoft Word, it should automatically convert it. To open it with Microsoft Word, hit "File" > "Open". Change the "Files of Type:" drop down box to "All (*.*)". Navigate to the folder in which the file is located, and it should appear in the dialog box. Double click the file, and Microsoft Word should convert the file for you. You can then save the file in a different format if you prefer.
