Re: Flash Disk goes bad

Did you assemble the board yourself into the case? check to make sure your front panel USB connections are installed onto your motherboard in the correct order. Refer to your Motherboard Manual. If they are not, they can fry your usb devices rendering them inoperable on your pc or others. I have seen this before because of improper installation of front pannel USB connections. Good Luck

I use intel945gcnl mother i join front panel audio in and out.front panel usb connected but audio how. please explore with a diagram........sorry for my bad english

Inside your computer, look for the cables that are attached to the front panel audio and front panel usb, on the end of both cables you will see a rectangle plug, on your motherboard you will see ports that are designed exactly for the two plugs I have mentioned, at this point you plug them into the relevant ports. It is worth noting that these plugs are slightly different from eachother, thereby preventing you from plugging them in to the incorrect sockets.

If you have any more questions, please do not hesitate in asking,

Hello, i have kingston flash drive type model 101 (DT101) data traveller 2gb n 4gb,it has suddently goes awry after i'm eject n unplug it. it cannot been identified by any usb hub at any computer by...

it may have been physically damaged but if not we will see it in your disk manager so: put the flash drive into a usb port. then goto start menu/ right click on my computer/ select manage/ select(double click) storage/ select disk management now you can see every storage device connected to your computer. you may have to reformat the drive (in which case you will lose your data) or maybe even reassign the letter. you can do this by right clicking on the drive in question and selecting one or the other. if you cannot see the drive in disk manager then either the drive is no good or the usb port is so maybe try it in more than one usb port. if the data on the drive is vital to you or you need anything else just text me back here cause i have many more tricks up my sleave:) hope this helps and good luck:)

I have an HP pen drive 4GB. From last one week it is not being detected in any system.

Sometimes when a flashmemory stick or USB external hard drive fails because it was not removed fromthe USB port properly. If the device is removed byjust pulling it out of the USB port, it can cause the flash device to fail, youmust click on the Safely Remove Hardware icon on the Task Bar and select thedevice you wish to remove and only do so when instructed to do so When the flash memoryUSB hard drive device appears to malfunction it maybe possible to restoreit by reformatting it. Insert the flash or USB hard drive into the USB port then Click on Control Panel - AdministrativeTools - Computer Management - Disk Management. Then right click on Disk 1removable drive and click Format. After the flash drive has been formatted itwill indicate that it is Healthy. You need to format the flash or external drive. Format thedrive as primary drive and in FAT32. (FAT32 will allow data to be exchangedbetween MACs and PCs also between XP/Vista and earlier versions of Windows). Otherwise format the USB flash drive in NTFS.
Insert the flash or external hard drive into the USB port then Click on ControlPanel - Administrative Tools - Computer Management - Disk Management.
Then right click on Disk 1 removable drive and click Format. After the flashdrive has been formatted it will indicate that it is Health

three solutions:
1- go to the bios (press "delete key" at start of turning on of computer) and enable "USB Mouse" a "USB Keyboard" (sorry i can't remember where really it is).
if it doesn't work :
2- reinstall your OS.
3- update BIOS of your. (download a bios update and install it by a boot disk)

Sir my problem is that my SATA hard disk not detected by system. Also when i detect the SATA/IDE hard disk system hang, and nothing happen. But that time keyboard not hang. My SATA ports work...

Each PATA device (disk-drive or CD/DVD) drive has some small jumpers.

For the two devices connected via the one ribbon-cable,
set the jumpers on one device to the MA(ster) setting,
and set the other device to the SL(ave) setting.

Or, set both devices on the one cable to the C(able)S(elect) setting.

When properly set, both devices will be quickly and properly detected.

Be sure that your BIOS SETUP has been configured to allow SATA devices,
i.e., not set to "disabled" mode.
