I believe that tower has a plastic clip on the back of it to open the tower. Just pinch the ends and the door will pop open. This looks like a similiar Gateway tower I'm working on for a client right now.

One side off the tower should come off. There should be two screws holding it on, located on the back. If it's like most towers, the left side comes off.

Try sliding the panel to the back of the unit. You might have to be a little rough with it, sometimes they get stuck.

Fan runs constantly on hp pavilion a1530n

WARNING: Before you start troubleshooting remember that you are dealing with electricity that can KILL.

First clean your computer of dust you could use a fine air blower from a compressor or a can of compressed air whatever you use make absolutely sure there is no moisture in the airlines

if the fan in your computer is constantly running to cool down the cpu and it is normal for it to increase it's speed, your fan should run quietly even it increases the rpm.

But if you hear a loud noise in the fan, i think there's something wrong with it.

I suggest for you to check the fan if it's coming in contact with anything. If the fan is visible while your computer is operating, you can observe it to know what is really happening.

I don't know what type of fan hp uses on their computers, maybe something is loose already on the fan so better check it or bring it to an hp service center.

your CPU might be getting hot making you computers fan to run consistently

MY E-MACHINE MODEL NUMBER T-3985 MAKES ALOT OF NOISE WHEN RUNNING.

If it is a clicking noise, then that means your hard drive is probably starting to go. If it's a humming noise, then it's the system fan that keeps the computer cool. Try cleaning the fan and if that doesn't work, purchase a new one and replace. They are fairly cheap and easy to replace. If the fan stops working, it can cause the computer to heat up and may cause components such as the processor and hard drive to fail.

NOISY FAN ADVENT T9302 COMPUTER ON ALL THE TIME

Ok, for your first issue, remove the side from the case, and have some compressed air at the ready. from a distance of 6-12 inches direct the air into the heatsink and blow out as much dust as possible. do this also for the power supply and an other fans and areas where dust is caked on. Secondly, this issue can also be attributed to a bad stick of RAM.

Hello, I have got a problem with my acer aspire 5520, at first it worked well but after about 3 months everytimes I play the warcraft 3 game the fan start rambling and the computer bcomes really laggy, the...

Unplug the computer..take the case off (usually a couple phillips screw on the back) check all your fans , make sure they have good compression and dont just spin freely. clean the heatsincs under the fans with some canned air.--dont forget the fan on the video card if you've added a non integrated video card...then check all the ram and cadd-in cards , make sure they're properly seated in thier spots.
You might fire it up with the case off and try to locate the noisy fan or device... most fans can be replaced..any computer store will carry them.
Keep in mind a fan CAN make annoying noises as it starts to go bad..replace it BEFORE it causes other damage, don't put it off if it sounds bad.

The fan is makeing a load noise

Get a can of compressed air and make sure the fan is clean of gunk/dust. If its the fan built into the power supply, and have been noticing the computer not respoinding as good as used to, the you might need a new power supply. http://www.factorydirect.ca/catalog/category_list.php?cat=0700

If the loud noise is coming from a seperate fan, again make sure if it is clean. If it still makes noises, then you might need a new fan.

Loud Dell desktop

Any fan that is making noise you would need to replace. There is also never a need to use alcohol to clean a fan. Some computer air or a light wipe down will do just fine.
If you have any other questions let me know.
