Question about GoVideo Go Video DVD/VCR Combo
Model DV 1030. Purchased in 2004 in CA and was able to use it then. Have not tried to use it since 2006. (So it only had about 1 1/2 year's actual usage. That means an average of 1 DVD every other week.)
The machine is connected to the cable box and I assume all the connections are OK. The power goes on, the VCR part works fine--insert and eject in the VCR are OK. Pressing eject for the DVD does nothing for that slot. I do get the message that I can "Load" and that there is "no disc". Doesn't all of this seem to indicate that everything is connected alright. So what do you think is the problem?
Sounds like the dvd door is stuck. Try using a paperclip in the small hole by the dvd door to open manually. Once opened then try to use the button to close. Hope this helps.
