Bluetooth headset my phone can't find my headset device, motorola v850

You must enter the default Bluetooth pairing code, on your phone, when prompted. The code is 0000 (four zeros).

For your reference, the brand of a Bluetooth device has nothing to do with compatibility. Bluetooth Corporation licenses its technology to many other companies. Devices using Bluetooth technology must conform to the Bluetooth standards. So, a Motorola Bluetooth device will definitely pair with your LG phone, or any other brand of phone supporting Bluetooth device communication.

Well you need to pair it to your new cell phone and go to bluetooth setting .than search for a new device once's found added to it.

1. Make sure your phone's bluetooth is on.
   
2. Go to MENU > SETTINGS > CONNECTION > BLUETOOTH LINK > SETUP.
   
3. Scroll to power then press change.
   
4. Scroll to ON the press select to turn on the bluetooth feature. Bluetooth feature remains ON until it is turned off.
5. With the headset power off, press and hold the CALL button for 6-10 seconds until the blue light indicator turns on and remains steadily lit. If it does not stay lit, turn off the headset. To turn it off, press and hold CALL button until blue light stops.
6. While holding the CALL button on the headset, on your phone select MENU > SETTINGS > CONNECTION > BLUETOOTH LINK > HANDS-FREE > LOOK FOR DEVICES. The phone lists all bluetooth devices it finds.
   
7. Select Motorola H500.
   
8. Press OK or YES to pair the headset with your phone.
9. Enter the passkey 0000.
   
10. Press OK.

If you have lost the pairing on your phone with the headset follow these simple steps below:
• Setting the headset into pairing mode
1) Ensure the headset is fully charged
2) The headset must be switch off
3) Press and hold the on button for +- 8 seconds until the light flashes red-blue
4) The headset is now in pairing mode
• Searching for the headset on the phone
1) Go to “settings” or “connections”
2) Select Bluetooth, then options
3) Select Devices and click add
4) The phone should search for any available Bluetooth devices and display what was found
5) Select the Motorola device and click add
6) You will be required to enter in a pass code which is standard ‘0000’.
7) If successful then the headset will start flashing BLUE every few seconds.
8) If it’s a Samsung or Nokia phone you will need to “AUTHORIZE” headset on the device.
• The headset is now paired with the phone

I used this Motorola Bluetooth manual to connect my Motorola N136/HS 850 to my LG PM 325 phone. In the attached manual: Go to "using your headset" - "linking your headset and phone" and follow the instructions. You may need to revise the steps slightly to fit the functions of your phone. I followed steps 1 and 2, skipped step 3 and instead found the bluetooth icon on my phone, selected "add new", then selected "searching and pairing" and allowed the phone to search for and pair my bluetooth device. The Motorola Bluetooth device appeared on the screen of my phone within seconds as "Motorola HS850". I selected the device on the screen of my phone and followed step 5 entering the pin code "0000" and selected "connect" on my phone to begin using my bluetooth. I hope this helps someone. try to power cycle the cellphone by turning it off and remove battery, then reinstall and turn it back on

This will vary depending on the model of your phone. First off, you need to ensure that you are using a bluetooth enabled phone.
