Question about Toshiba 50H71 50" Rear Projection Television
When powered on we hear a click but nothing happens. Red light flashes in the front panel. How can we fix this?
This could be caused by several different things.. your convergence amplifier ICs could be bad, causing 1 of the 2 pico fuses to open up.. another possibility could be bad solder or defective hybrid voltage regulator to be bad (its usually a light brown color).. worse case could be a cracked picture tube hidden by the deflection coil on 1 of the 3 tubes.. might also wanr to check if the horizontal output transistor is shorted..there is also a 1A pico fuse that could be open..
