If your contract has expired then you can unlock your phone from EE app or call customer services in EE to unlock your phone.

Can i get AT&T Z10 BlackBerry with a SIM card unlocked and use it on Verizon service with a Verizon SIM card

I don't think so....it does not support CDMA.So once you have unlocked you can swap with other GSM providers only. There are many unlock providers like Prounlocking.com to unlock your phone permanently.

Did you change phones? Sim cards? I am assuming you have the same phone, and they switched out the sim card (or maybe not?) when you changed plans.

Also, all 4G phones are also 3G and 2G phones, and they simply pick the best available. So if you lose 4G coverage, it will simply switch to the wider 3g network and when you're really remote, drop to 2G. This effects data speed primarily, there isn't any qualitative difference between them for voice and text.

It sounds like you might have something screwy with your sim card when the plan changed happened, I would call T-Mobile or visit a store and ask for a new sim card and be vocal about the poor reception after the plan change. Changing plans shouldn't normally effect reception, only changing phones/networks.

I myself experienced reception issues like yours, and the problem was a bad simcard. I'm sorry for the vague answers, but I think your best bet is to go to a T-Mobile store. They should replace the sim card free of charge.

G3 via G2

I've setup Nokia phones with 2G SIM's and I've had it running under GSM frequencies using a Optus 2G GSM SIM card; works fine. I've also put 3G SIM's in 2G Unlocked Phones and haven't had any issues before.

Have you tried putting in a 3G SIM and had problems?

Is your phone locked or unlocked?

Be careful of the terminology, some people get "3G" mixed up with the company "3" which is owned by Hutchison.

For example, if the phone is locked to 3, and you try and put an Optus/Voda/Telstra/AT&T SIM inside it will not work.

If it's just a Generic Branded 3G phone you should be fine.

Make sure your phone is unlocked, then purchase a SIM online or back at the AT&T store.

You should be able to take your phone back to the "stupid people" at the AT&T store and have them register a 3G SIM and you shouldn't have any problems; just tell them it's a unlocked phone.

Tv n99i doesn't have service

Make sure its not a 3G sim card. The phone doesn't work with 3G sim cards. Try a diff non 3G sim card and see if that works.

Motorola V3i with a sim Card inserted and it says 'contact service provider'

That model is for a 2G Network. If your service provider has upgraded to a 3G or 4 G, you may need to upgrade to a 3G phone. Technology many have left you in the dust. 3G is the third generation of mobile phone standards and technology, superseding 2G, and preceding 4G.
