Question about Gateway (G-MAX2000) Computer Speakers
Are you using a Laptop with Dock Station? sometimes you need to "activate" your speakers. Do a right click over speaker icon (lower right corner, next to time/date).Click on "Playback devices", select your speakers, and click on properties. Now verify if displayed info is correct (rear/front panel) and select "Use this device (enable)". Click OK, and ok again... Enjoy it!

First, make sure the speakers are plugged into the center green connector.
Second, go to Gateway's website and download the latest audio drivers for your system and reinstall them. That should do it.
