Battery pieces

Not a minor repair. You have to remove two circuit boards and their attached wiring to replace, plus the camera covers

Model QTsi Maxxum. Need a new battery chamber door. The door is broken off. Any ideas?

The battery door on these models just hooks under a wire next to the battery hole. They can pop off rather easily as they are a small piece held in place by a spring, essentially.
You can often find the part on ebay for a few $ and snap it in place yourself. The same battery door is used by the XTsi, HTsi, STsi cameras.
Its very possible that you did not lock it properly the last time you put in new batteries. Hold the door down while you turn the quarter as you lock or unlock it. Otherwise the pressure of the battery spring will prevent a good lock.

Camera film door will not latch. The door latch

Can it be repaired? It needs a new latch piece. Maybe a new door, if its all one piece.
I do not own one so not sure about that model. Look at the door hinge. If a small lever sticks out of the hinge, it may be easily removed and replaced with a new door. otherwise you need to remove the bottom plate of the camera to replace the door. Be very careful doing so as things could pop out when you open it.
You could also send it in to a repair shop, where they will also clean, lubricate and adjust it before returning.

Is it worth it? Only you can answer that. You might be able to pickup a used one on Ebay, so you have a source of parts.
If you have no reason to keep that particular camera, replace it with a newer Nikon, so you can keep using your flash and lenses.

I have no idea how to put my film in the "Pentax mz-m" camera? Someone help me. I'm new to this as I am just doing photography at school!

Pull up on the rewind knob ( left side ) to open the film door. put film cassette in chamber then lower rewind knob and pull enough film leader to the take up spool. attach film to spool. close the film door then advance the film to #1 on the counter.

Pentax A3000 frame advance jammed

There could be a number of causes.

First make sure that the replacement batteries are up to it. Ie one's marketed for camera use. Others often cannot supply the current required by the motors. (Electric motors require most current just as they start, and so it may not do anthyhing at all.) Then check the battery contacts are clean. Much the same reason applies, dirty contacts cam prevent the batteries from supplying enough current.

One more simple possibility is that it does not know the battery door is closed. This may be detected by a protrusion in the film door edge operating a contact in the loctaing groove, or contacts in the door latch. There may be more than one!

It is also possible that the camera is detecting an impossible film. DX coded film uses the contacts inside the film chamber to read the film speed from unpainted sections of the film cassette. It is just possible that a dirty contact or a scratch in the paint is telling the camera that the film is a speed it cannot handle, or is just confusing it with a nonesense code!

Outside these there are a number of possibilites which will require internal investigation. You can try these camera repair pages for tips on repairing your own camera.

Film door latch is loose

Same advice I made to another post. At some point you got to make a decision. There is a lot of plastic pieces that can break. Canon doesn't support the T series from what I've read. You may consider getting another one. You also have to consider that the fix may not work. Then what do you do?
