Question about Car Audio & Video
I am not getting a picture on the DVD screen when playing a DVD. Audio is working and the DVD player itself is working. Verified this with external TV monitor. The DVD screen does show the Rosen splash screen when it starts up, and it does display when the system is muted or changed to FM on or off. Initially it was sensitive as to where the screen was opened to, but eventually it got to where it will not display the movie at all.

Check the cable between the media centre and bass module for signs of damage (if its buried in the wall / under the floor and you can't check it, assume it could be damaged).
however, this sounds like a fault with the Digital Analogue Converter - this coverts the digital audio on a disc to analogue information the amplifer can use to produce sound. Contact your retailer for exchange / repair.....

SOURCE: cannot see dvd picture
If you have the "dvd bypass hookup" dont worry about the E-brake, go to the background setting screen and make sure it is set to "no image"...unfortunately with this system, you cannot set a background image and play videos at the same time.
