Hi Hubert,
You need to go into the BIOS, just tap F8 on startup, and navigate to the sound settings, by using the arrow keys etc. Then press enter on that and it'll let you choose between PCI sound or the onboard sound. Choose PCI, press enter, Save to CMOS and Exit.
The sound should work now, provided you have installed the driver for the sound card.
