The psp was bought today (new) loaded ben 10 game, it loads and asks you to start, the intro begins but as soon as you want to play the game screen goes blue but you can hear the game in the backround??
Hope somebody can help as this is a christmas present .

Generally there are a couple of things that can cause this. Bad installs of games, and more commonly thermal damage. The bad news is it will probably have to be repaired and Sony generally charges about $150 for that. Hopefully its under warranty? =)
There is some talk that the new firmware download may have altered physical parts that control the temperature inside the unit. Although that's just heresay i've been hearing more and more people thinking this is the case.
I fixed It Thank You Almighty God in Heaven I have the solution... All I did was take a cotton swab and rub it against the lensn it didnt even need any alcohol or windex hahahahahaha try it . It worked for me. I goin to play, later :)
Are you running with custom firmware like M33 or HX?
If so, you can switch your psp off (not stand by), and hold R trigger when you switch it on, it should bring you to the recovery menu, where you can setup your XMB cpu speed and Game cpu speed, both set to default will be fine.
