This is usually some type of water fill deficiency problem. You'll need to remove the lower drawer to access the fill valve at the back of the drawer compartment on the left hand side

If he Dishes Are Not Clean:

- Have you put the right amount of detergent into the dispenser?

- Is the wash cycle suitable for the dishes you have placed inside the
appliance?
- Are the filter and microfilter clean?

- Can the sprayer arms turn freely?

This is how the manual helps.

DCS bottom dishwasher drawer u1 code: begins cycle, runs a couple minutes then stops and beeps

Hi there Ypowers, U1 fault code relates to the fill system. Is the tap turned on, is the spray arm position correctly and free to rotate, nothing blocking it?. I hope this helps regards Gary.

I have fisher&paykel.dishwasher.nautilus, half way through the washing,it beeps non stop and shows me U1 . AND IT DOESNT WORK SO I HAVE TO START ALL OVER AGAIN

Hi,
U1 fault if caused by several things: water supply not turned on (I doubt that), unit is syphoning causing not water in tub to be detected during cycle (this is possible if the drain system in incorrectly installed), spray arm in the drawer is not in place or get moved somehow, excessive foaming (wrong soap or too much), inlet valve failed, controller failed, or rotor not fitted correctly.
I would inspect this issues and locate the reason the unit will not complete the cycle, you may end up replacing the controller in that drawer to fix the problem (as a last resort).
Good Luck

Hi I have a DD603 F & P dish drawer. I had an F2 fault, found the rotor motor seized. I've replaced that but F2 still comes up & the water doesn't drain away. Any ideas?

Before we talk about water not draining away, can you confirm if the wash arms rotate during the wash cycle. The rotor works as a wash pump and drain pump depending on which cycle it is in.

If F2 keeps coming then it is also likely there is some debris in the rotor cavity which is grinding on the rotor. But one needs to be sure if F2 is coming up only in drain cycle or is it already on during wash cycle.

F & P DD603 starts to wash then beeps & flashes U1 - Fill Fault. I have cleaned both drawers & replaced all parts correctly, still comes up with U1.

Have you checked whether you are getting the water supply to the dishwasher. Check if there is no kink in the water hose.

If no problem with water supply then check the water pressure rating is OK for the dishwasher.
