All you need to do is download the very latest version of iTunes, install it, connect your iPod, do any software updates to the iPod if requested, then on the main iPod page in iTunes click the button that says Restore. Choose the bottom most option if given any then do the restore. THis will reset your password.

I have a problem,I bought a apple i pod mp 3 player a few weeks ago at a flee market, worked fine up until last night I accidently went into lock screen and it went off and now I don't have a clue to...

There are 2 ways to try and unlock it if you don't know the passcode.

1) Connect your iPod to the computer set as the primary one in iTunes. Open the iTunes application, then disconnect your iPod from the computer, and it should no longer be locked.

Only use this next option as a last resort because it is a destructive process.

Everything on your iPod will be erased.

Your assessment seems to be correct. The problem is most likely in the iPod.

The stereo headphone connector (called a "jack") may have a broken connection, most likely on the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) inside the iPod. You may try carefully wiggling the plug in the jack and see if the sound comes on and off. Do it with the volume low so you don't damage the amplifier in the iPod.

I have opened them up before. It can be done, but is not particularly easy, and must be done carefully.

If you are technically inclined, or know someone who is, open the iPod and examine the jack connections to the PCB. If there is a break, it can be repaired by soldering a wire across the trace on the board.

If you're not able to do this and don't know anyone who can, it will probably have to be professionally repaired if the warranty has expired.

Good luck!

Lost my i pod code and dont know what to do i cant unlock it

IF you mean a iTunes gift card, contact apple and keep your receipt on hand. IF you mean your iPod Pass Code, go to iTunes and Sys. Restore, you'll lose whatever data's on it but you'll at least have your iPod back.

Got i pod touch internet problems

when you set up your home internet, it comes with a password. you might have it written down somewhere, and if not, most routers will have a utilities site where you can log in and discover (or re-discover) your router's password.
hope this helps ;-)

Hi There
Easy to fix. Connect the ipod to iTunes via USB. In iTunes on the iPods main page click the Restore button and chose the bottom most option (if it gives you any). Follow the rest of the instructions and once you've resynced the ipod it will be password unlocked.

All the best
