I have a panasonic tv which no buttons on the control panel work anymore, aswell as the remote not working. Can someone help???

-   I have the same problem; no buttons on the side panel work. Additionally, whenever i hit any of th remote buttons the timer button on the TV lights up but nothing works... please help me
