Question about Brother MFC 420CN All-In-One InkJet Printer
This one will cost money, sorry. Inkjet machines periodically clean their nozzles by squirting ink through them, and in the MFC 420 that ink is collected an pumped into big plastic box filled with thick, felt pads. The machine counts how much ink has been squirted into there, and at a certain count refuses to clean it's nozzles (or print) anymore. You need to replace the "Ink Absorber Box," which is only maybe $15, but getting the machine torn down to that point will require a technician.
