It's possible it is frozen. Turn it off for a few hours but repairs outweigh replacement.

if you did not turn off the unit at the wall when you defrosted it , it is possible that it went into overload and tripped a thermal breaker or reset button
check for one and reset or call in a technician for a diagnosis and quote

Press down on the battery, which will allow it to pop up, as if you were going to remove it. Press the power "on" button. More than likely, your Min-Etune will now work fine.

Hello John - Let's try resetting the dishwasher by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker to the off position. It is important to wait roughly ten minutes and then turn on the unit. Confirm that the door is properly latched and try selecting a cycle. Sounds like you have a bolwer motor or fuel pump that has bad bearings, as it runs, it starts to bind up, and get to the point where it is pulling to much juice to turn it, and the fuse does it's job and blows?

You need to call a reputable service technician.  The freezing up usually is associated with a low refrigerant charge or low air flow.  Check your return air filter and replace as needed.

Maybe the baterry doesnt work you could try to buy a new one because at somepoint batteries dont work anymore that happened to me.

Nothing...Maytag SUCKS!! I have the same problem and Maytag says it could take months before they get new parts to fix the faulty control panel. My unit never shuts off. Only way to turn it off is by unplugging it out of my wall socket and it has already caused my living room electrical socket to blow out. I will never buy Maytag again.
