Oven only heats to 215 degrees will not get any hotter.


Sounds like the heat sensor is bad. I'm assuming this is an electric oven. On the inside back wall of the oven you will see a metal rod sticking out. Unplug the stove, take off the back cover and you'll see where it's attached. Unscrew the keeper and pull it out through the back. Unplug it from the wiring harness.

I need to know which kind of plug is used on this oven so that the electricians can install the right kind of receptacle. Maytag cwe5800acs 24 Double electric wall oven


Your oven needs to be hard wired to a junction box. No plugs on a oven that pulls 30 or more amps 220v Read your install book that came with the oven.
