Question about Phones

1 Answer

We have a Toshiba DKT2010SD phone system. Four phones - 3 lines. One of our phones shows nothing on the screen and it's line indicates "in use" on the other phones in the office. Do these phones require batteries? There doesn't appear to be a place on the back of the phone, but maybe I just don't see it. Could it be another problem?

I need to install a refurbished toshiba DKT2010-SD phone to an existing phone line. all our other phones are the same model, i thought it was as simple as just plugging it in, it isn't working, what...

The telephone system is propriatary so it needs a port out of the phone system to work. you can either use a standard single line telephone (like the one in your house) and plug it into the phone line or hook the phone line up to the phone system and hook the toshiba set to the system via the existing jack.

Wont Ring, Wont pick up another line, upgrading phone lines

You will have to do a little programming to accomplish this. I attached a website to this message that has all the Toshiba manuals. You will have to look at program number 16 for line access and 81 for ringing options. The code to get in program mode is *#*#1*2*3. Hope this helps.

You probably have outgoing line select turned on, so it grabs a outside line first. just press your intercom button first and then press your message key.
