Blackberry Pearl 8100c Screen blank out

Yes, I have Pearl and the other day I was making a quick call. When I got done with the call. My screen on the blackberry went blank to a white screen. I let sit for a moment to see if it goes back to the windows screen. NO.
I take the battery cover out then the battery to see if it would reset my problem. As soon as I put the battery back in it went back to the white screen background. Then, I try to push the power startup button (red button - use for many functions) aka the startup power mode. No it didn't work. Still blank screen.
I use my home phone to call my cell phone. It went to voicemail. Sensing the phone is in off mode. I did get a red flash on my cell phone that indicates that I have voice message. I hold down and press #1. It actually work and my phone talk to me. Good. I couldn't dial numbers since I couldn't see the screen. No sounds could be detected while trying any other functions. Just voicemail.

So my major problem is: How to get the blank white screen back to normal window screen mode?

Blank Screen

Sounds like you have a broken LCD screen. Go to your carrier, they might replace the phone for you altogether for free or at a discounted rate. If they refuse, the only way to get it up and running again is to open your blackberry2_bing.gif to physically replace the part. If you want somebody else to do it for you go to Blackberry Repair. If you want to do it yourself, here is a Blackberry curve Repair Guide that shows how.

Blackberry pearl - blank screen - phone will send and recieve calls but the screen shows nothing.

First, pull the battery out while the BlackBerry Pearl is turned ON. Leave the battery out for 5 minutes and then put it back on.

If same problem occur, contact the manufacturer and have them reload the OS/firmware on your phone.

That is the only solution. Thank you!
