What email are you using?

Do you use Outlook, the web, or a different program?

Thanks.

My computer keeps "auto-adding" contacts I already have. how can I stop this?

If you use Windows Live Mail to manage your Hotmail account, any email addresses that you reply to at least three times are automatically stored in your Address Book as frequent contacts. If this function is cluttering your contacts list and you want to deactivate it, you can do so through Windows Live Mail's Options dialog.

Open Windows Live Mail and click the "Show Menu" button, then "Options." Select the "Send" tab in the Options dialog box that appears. Uncheck the box next to "Automatically put people I reply to in my address book after the third reply" and click "OK."

When I REPLY to SOME emails I get"message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was ....... etc." But when I create a new...

If you are using email like OutlookExpress, or Windows Mail, you may have linked to multiple email address' . So when you hit Send / Recive, its checking 2 or more email adds.. If so, one of them is not setup correctly for the Outgoing server. When you create a new email, it uses your default main email address, which is apparently setup correctly. When you reply to a mail which came in on the "other" account the outgoing server setup is wrong, resulting in the message you recieve.
You should go over the server setting for each account other than your default email account.

I can not send,reply or forward e-mail on yahoo.com....

I'm not sure but you may have to contact Yahoo customer service for this issue via the phone.
If you are in the new mail client facing you may have to click the "options" in blue in the upper right corner of the email client facing and change to the
"Classic view" then go to the yahoo customer service chat and give your issue there.
I seems they have a server routing issue if you can't send, reply or forward emails. This could also be due to emails settings that having been change on your account by which the support tech has to check to see if it is on the server side and then give you direction on how to reset you acct information.

save your emails and messages of of your C drive. Save to a usb or other media. This applies to Outlook incredimail or anything other than like hotmail, or things like that. Put in your OS disk, go to add other, select the items that you want to install and make sure you include everythiny you need even though its already in your machine. This is like reinstalling the acessories in your machine like it was new. let the software run.
when it reboots .. go to your email and from the file pull down menu, import you emails and messages back into your email software. Be advised that Outlook, not outlook express, will give you a hell of a time getting the info back in. Try to use (as export) microsoft email choice. Good Luck

Will not print, printer icon comes on but zero pages to print

numbered_list.gifIn your email program once you send a message it will go from the outbox to the sent items. if there was any problem it would not appear in the sent items box, but would remain in the outbox and would post an error to you.
Now- go to tools, options, receipts tab, and put a check mark in the first box. And send your email as normal. That way when they open the email at their end you get a message that says they opened your email at their end.

Cannot compose email

This sounds very virus like. I would go to the Internet and go to one of the free virus scanners (put free virus scanner into your choice of search engine )and scan the computer for viruses. Then if after that you are still getting thrown out of your email, I would check the email program settings. Comcast also has a help desk that I would consider calling if the problem continues.

Good luck!
