R4 Card Hi There My Mum Bought Me An R4 Card For My Ds Lite For My Christmas And I Thought I Would Just Try It To See If It Works And When I Put The R4 Card In My Ds It Says Couldn't Fin Ds Menu But I Never Got Any Disc Or Softwear With It :(

You may have a bad firmware on R4, using wrong card (R4 for ds and ds lite, theres another for dsi and another for 3ds) a good firmware to use is r4 wood:

because the basic r4 for ds and ds lite doesnt get updates anymore

worse case senerio u bought a fake r4 or a faulty one

ps u have the memory card in right?

I think you need to update the R4 software,dont know what is your R4 update website?

try reformating and replacing all the data.... it could be curropt


but first i'd try just taking out the game card and placing it back in

take it back, make sure the warrenty sticker is still on the bottom of the counsil, if not, contact NINTENDO, a phone number at NINTENDO.com

hi, i had this prolem with r4 sdhc card red menu when i put on r4 card software on ds lite. solution put on r41 software works fine now , hope this helps

my advice is do not get any r4 chips plus trhey ellegal

Try eject, blow into the port then reinsert. There is a possibility that your ds has blocked the r4 from being used on that ds.

Try reformatting the card to fat i think, then put the files(must be latest version, 1.18) onto the card. Should work.

I don't have a solution but I have the exact same issue. On my co-workers DS my R4 works like a champ on my daughters R4 it gets stuck @ loading.
