Question about Dryers
I have a maytag performa right in the middle of a load it stopped i thought maybe it over heated but it still won't come back on i checked the breaker. is there a reset button?
The fuse mounts on the right hand side of the heat element on the top rear of the dryer inside. It has 2 white wires going to it. It's mounting clip is held onto the side of the heat chamber with the same screw which holds down the element. To get to it start here:
Go ahead and remove the front panel and clean out the filter housing. Check the blower for looseness.

These problems are what causes the fuse to blow.
