    1. If your documents have already been scanned into memory:
    2. touch the [Change/Stop TX File] key
    • check that the [Stop Transmission] key is selected
    • touch the file that you want to stop, then touch the [Stop Transmission] key in the confirmation dialog box
    • touch [Exit] to return to the Fax Mode display
    1. If your documents are being transmitted:
    2. press the red [Clear/Stop] key

OUR FAX SAYS 98% MEMORY FULL SOMETIMES WHEN THEY TRY TO FAX SOMETHING. HOW DO I CLEAR THE MEMORY? NATALIE

Press Menu, 2, 5, 2. The screen prompts you to choose a fax setting. Press <-- or --> to select OFF then press SET. If there are faxes in memory when you turn Fax Storage to OFF, the LCD prompts you to erase faxes in memory. If you press 1, all fax data is erased and Fax Storage is turned OFF.

You may want to enable Real Time TX so you can send fax without using memory. (Under FAX-SETUP SEND-REAL TIME TX)

You may also disable Fax Storage if you don't want to store incoming faxes in memory for remote retrieval (Under FAX- REMOTE FAX OPT-FAX STORAGE)

For effective use of the memory, you may also clear the caller IDs stored in the memory. Press MENU, 2, 0, 2 Press the arrow keys to display # then press CLEAR.

Hope this helps!

Clear Memory

hi there!

Try a hard reset. This trick usually works with Lexmark Fax machines.

Disconnect the power cord. Hold down the power button and connect the cord (Power Switch ON) while holding the power button. Most models would substitute the power button with START. so Hold the START button in this case.

Hope this helps!

Try this: Press MENU, select FAX, then scroll down to REMAINING JOBS. If any jobs are displayed , you can choose to print them. To print from the fax memory, first exit out of the MENU functions totally. Then, press MENU,2,5,4. Next, press START. After all faxes in memory have printed, press STOP/EXIT button. Check REMAINING JOBS again, if it is clear, fax memory should be clear, Also.If the fax machine has a PRINTER function, press the JOB CANCEL button to clear the print Queue.
