Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
I'm using Bizhub c 203, last friday I just couldn't use scanner.
I get errors, even if I didn't get error, the file is not in the folder.
What I can do?

what u need to scan to emails is the email smtp ip address.
just put the ip smtp address in the network setting>smtp address
and try to ping from ur B250, if the result is OK, then u have the connection. go to Utility/Counter>user setting>one touch to register
the user address, then scan it, u should be getting the scanned file in ur inbox.

SOURCE: Bizhub c350 will not scan to hdd
Easiest way is to change to SMB scanning which will give you direct scanning to PC or server. Create a new address in the machines address tab in the browser add the (must be a fixed) ip address of the machine it is going to with the folder name, user name and password and it will work a treat.

Your configuration sharing SMB folder is incorrect. Create desktop folder rename all upper case SMB right click on the folder and click sharing and set full control to everyone. Go to web brouser type in the ip address of the printer log on to administrator password 8 zeros or 12345678 and change the setting.

The first thing to try is to restart the Bizhub. Power switch for that is located behind the front panel where the toner cartidges are. Not the switch to the side of the operation panel.
If that doesn't work, you need to check the job history. Press details, there will be a description of the error.
Server Connect Error: The Bizhub cannot find your computer.
Things to check:
Firewall, ports that need to be open are TCP 139, 445, UDP 137, 138
Netbois resolution not working, try using your PC's IP address instead.
If using Host Name to resolve, try Host name in uppercase.
Folder Not Found:
Check to make sure you are using the correct share name. Not necessarily would be sd.
Need to use a Username/Password which is an active account which has priveledge for the shared directory. If on a domain, use a domain authentication string for the username (firstname.lastname@example.org) If on a workgroup, \\COMPUTERNAME\Username If your password rotates every 60-90 days, could be that all you need to do is update the Bizhub with that information.

You ned to check the appropriate window based on the first letter of the button.
If you want in on the first screen, you need to indicate to add the button to your "favorites". Otherwise it appears under the alphbetical listing.
