Question about Kenmore 3.8 cu. ft. HE3t Front Load Washer

1 Answer

My washing machine stops all the time and beeps with the F 11 flashing. I have tried unplugging the machine so it can reset itself but that doesn't work. I am ready to throw it away! It seems to have trouble going into cycles.

Sometimes the unplugging helps, or hitting "Cancel" several times.  Guaranteed to work though is to remove top, reach down the top to the door lock.  (Tight squeeze and need to be a little tall to reach) Once your hand is down there, on bottom of lock mechanism is a small handle that must be pulled straight down and manually unlock the door.  This can also be accomplished by removing lower front panel and reaching up to do the same.   BTW, while in the top, make sure all the electrical connections are tight.  I found some loose before, probably from the spinning action.

My washing machine fisher paykel mw511 stopped working and now only beeps and show red light on spin. But don't spin or wash clothes

Is this the same company that makes Fisher-Price Toys?
I thought so, well you get what you pay for! OK most machines have some Reset function process. Most work by unplugging the machine for 5-10 minutes (computer to reset) then plug it back in. You should get a prompt/ audio or text message (if there is a window) that alerts you that the machine is resetting itself. Then just follow by testing a Light load setting so you do not have to wait around a long time. IF...This does NOT work. THEN...My Friend...You have a BAD control board. Which is like a computer board. And those are EXPENSIVE! $200-$400. So then it becomes economics. How old is the machine 5+ yrs? Buy another Machine

Gw608u will not spin

Unplug the machine for 15 mins. Try again from the beginning (start a small size wash cycle) and see if the problem clears itself. If it turns itself off again, see if it starts beeping and flashing any of the control panel lights when it does, and at what stage does it turn off? You will get the answer by yourself.

F & P washing machine GW709AU not competing rinse cycle and then beeps and flashes light.

My Whirlpool washing machine is not stopping after completion of wash cycle instead it is repeating the cycle again. It is not consistent, but out of 3 washes 1 wash is happening that way...we are manually stopping machine by gaurding carefully when timer shows nearer to completion.

Flashing F and alarm

Based upon your description, the drain pump has either failed or become clogged.
To check the pump, remove the bottom access panel. There you will find access to the pump clean-out.(Large,white screw cap) BE READY TO CATCH LOTS OF WATER. CAREFULLY AND S_L_O_W_L_Y unscrew the pump clean-out, catching and discarding the water. When the water flow finally stops, completely remove the clean-out filter. Inspect the clean-out filter, the drain hose from the tub as well as inside the pump impeller for any additional debris.... Hope this helps
