Some cable service providers have a delay in video and audio. It is most likely an issue with your service rpovider. There is a delay in the video or audio. This is not uncommon with some channels.
It is normal and real stupid---either ignore it (I won't) or go component as in a blind test done at our shop people could not tell on identical sets on HD program which was HDMI and which was Component---most of the time they thought the component was the HDMI picture
I think,Its Not the problem of your LCD TV. Its the problem with your Movie Player. or The video file that you are playing.. check your TV with any other Player. keep smiling...
It's not your TV. It is your data stream coming from the converter box. Audio is processed and sent very easily whereas video takes processing time, hence the delay. If you have separated you audio from video utilizing an external surround sound system, you must channel your video through the same processor. Very complicated if you don't know how to do all this stuff. Could originate with your provider as well. Cable, satellite, uverse, cat, coax, etc.
When viewing on Digital TV:- Sometimes Audio and Video signal can not be transmitted simultaneously due to additional process time for the video signal compared to that of the audio signal. Often video signal takes more time than the audio signal to convert from analogue signal to digital signal in the Digital TV. It may result in mismatch of the picture and sound. In the TH-G30/40's HD AV Sync menu, you can adjust the audio signal delay for simultaneous AV signal transmission
1. Delay time can be varied in 10msec steps.(0 to 300ms) 2. Delay time is different between TV Brands.
So you need to adjust the delay time for correct lip-sync. The adjustment is listed in the instruction book page12
Hi,
Did you check the sound setup? I know it can be setup for such a delay.
If I remember correctly (I don't have my DVD in front while answering) you access this setup by clicking on the remote control on the button on the right of the "HOME" button (I think this is the "OPTION" button): ont the pop up menu, you then have to choose the top menu (this is something like "SETUP"), and then choose sound: you will see that you can scroll there to delay or not the sound. Maybe, in your case, it is not set on the '0'.
Since I am not sure I remember correctly how to access this menu, I suggest you eventually look for it on your user guid.
Hope this helps
