Re: Email pop3 connection

Look on pages 78-81 in the user manual. If you lost it, you can find it here. It explains in detail how to get pop3 email working.

I am trying to get email access. I am not able to get my email even though my PDA says that it is connecting to my Wi-Fi

First you have to ensure that the problem is not from the internet connection. Try using the PDA and the same wireless connection to open a different site which is different from the email provider. If the other site opens then you are sure that the problem is from either the phone or the email service provider.
On the other hand if it does not open then this means that the recommended settings which are expected for the PDA to work with the wifi have not been properly set to give the PDA internet access. The device might be connected to the wifi but not connected to access the internet from the device. Try setting up the PDA and this time take care of the settings.
Hope this solution has been helpful?

I have locked my a ming 1200, don't remember the passcode

If your looking at your phone screen and it’s asking you for a security code, you may want to try the last 4 digits of your cell phone number, that is the default for most phones. If that does not work then you can try 9999 or 0000. Those are also standard with most phone companies. If after that you still have no luck, call your service provider to get help with the code otherwise you risk locking your phone out permanently which stops you from being able to receive phone calls, text messages, etc. I’m sorry your having so much trouble with this! I hope I was able to help you today!

T Mobile G1 POP3/IMAP Mail doesn't Work

What is the problem with your POP3/IMAP ?

Obviously, make sure that you are inputting the correct settings for your Chosen Email address, make sure the email provider Allows the use of the POP3/IMAP Clients for their email services, and make sure that you have a good strong connection to the internet.

Remember, the POP3/IMAP Client on the G1 does not support PUSH Email at this time, Meaning the emails will not automatically appear in your Mail inbox (unlike the G1 Gmail Client, which Supports Push Email).

PDA internet

You do not need the card slot for internet, you can put a memory card in there to store your data.
The PDA supports Wifi, so it is able to connect to a wireless network, as long as it is in range and it is allowed to access the network.
I don't know if you've got the manual. Anyway, you can find it here.
How to make a connection is explained in section 10, under 'Creating an ethernet connection'. I think a network card is already installed in your PDA.

You can manage email by using the pre-installed Microsoft Outlook. How to use this is also explained in the manual, in section 6.

If you need any further help, just post your question.

Email set up

you can, if you have an internet connection to your phone and a pop3 and smtp account on your email.

On jam, go to messaging >Accounts>Outlook E-Mail>Account>New Account...>Enter your e-mail Address: >next>next>Your Name>Username (Put your email login username)> Password (Your E-mail Password)>Account Type (POP3 is OK)>incoming mail (pop3 address, for gmail ,its>Outgoing Mail (smtp server, like>Domain (if any)>finish.

then to connect, Accounts>connect.

Email Configration of Motorola A120

ssorry to say but you cant able to configure motoming for hotmail setup not beacause of your phone support but hotmail not support. i mean to say in any mobile device or e-mail client when we configure any mail setting there is option in setting, LIKE POP3 AND IMAP4 BUT IN HOTMAIL BOTH THESE ACCESS POINT NOT SUPPORTED THEY REQUIRED HTTP FOR THAT, SO YOU CANT ACCESS HOTMAIL ON MOTOMING,NON ONLY MOTOMING BUT ON ANY MOBILE DEVICE. SO BETTER YOU CHOOSE YAHOO FOR THE SAME.
