If the camera has a battery, it also has a battery door.
Open the battery door, remove the battery and check is all contacts (battery and in the camera) are clean and shiny. If not you could try to clean these with a dry cloth to cotton swabs. Then replace the battery and make sure the door is locked correct.
If nothing works, please don't spent lots of money for a new battery. Just look what a new camera costs. Perhaps a new camera from a good brand is cheaper than a battery for a Omni2
I contacted Canon support. I received an immediate automated email confirmation about the lost installation CD. Within 5 hours I received another email from a person at Canon confirming that a new installation CD will be shipped in 5 to 7 business days. I received another email from their RMA care center that the order is being processed. This email also advises that I will receive notice when the CD is being shipped. Outstanding customer support in my opinion.
here is a link for the instruction manual if you need it;
according to this, the camera part is a MR97310 - you can download drivers from here;
Hope this helps :)
