What recording software are you using? What version of Windows are you on? The ASIO driver for the Lambda should have been installed when you loaded the software that it came with, and if so there should be a control panel that will allow you to select that. The other option is to use ASIO4ALL. It is a free ASIO driver that works really well for most sound cards and software instruments and recording software like Cubase, Nuendo or the many other programmes out there.
If you need more help let me know.

Cheers.

Recording on cubase le4 using my tascam us122 mk2

You're probably not recording through your tascam interface. Go to control panel -> sound, and then select the us122 as your default sound device. Close cubase and open it again. Then go to devices -> device setup, and then under your asio drivers, select asio us122. That should solve it

WDM or ASIO drivers in LynxOne?

Go with ASIO for reduced latency. Preferably the ASIO driver available for your card at the LynxStudio.com web site.

The Asio Driver OmegaAsio could not be started!

I get this too. I don't know how to stop it happening in the first place, but if you find you can't record after it happens, this is what sorts it for me:

Go to 'Devices' and then 'Device Set-up'. Make sure you're in the 'VST Audio System' part of the menu. Click on 'Set to Defaults', then 'Apply' and 'OK'.

I have to say, though, I'm finding the Omega a total pain because of all these random issues!

Lexicon Omega/Cubasele4

I've had this problem and similar ones. Following these steps seems to help:

Starting Cubase before switching on the Omega.

Go to 'Devices' and then 'Device Set-up'. Make sure you're in the 'VST Audio System' part of the menu. Make sure the Omega is selected as the ASIO driver - if not, switch it. Then click on 'Set to Defaults', then 'Apply' and 'OK'.

Or re-setting the Omega sometimes helps too.

It's a pain, though.

EMU 1616m (cardbus) not offerring its input sources to Reaper

While you probably solved this already here goes. I'm not familiar with reaper but most audio recording software can select between using windows wdm & ASIO. If you aren't set to ASIO you won't be able to see the Hi-Z (Dock A/Dock B) inputs. It looks like Reaper supports ASIO so that should be fine. If though you are using a program that doesn't support ASIO you need to use the EMU patchmix and 'patch' the input through to a 'wave' channel.

Maya1010 Clipping issue

I don't know which drivers your using but try using WDM drivers or if your already using the WDM drivers try using ASIO drivers. Try to make sure you don't have any software running that is not ABSOLUTELY necessary while recording. I have a feeling that the problem is really your processor. Celerons SUCK! Having said that I've seen the same problem on PC's build for heavy duty recording sparing little expense. The solution was switching to ASIO drivers. Hope this helps, El Duderino
