Hopefully this site will help you out. Not sure though if it is your driver or if somebody has your computer set so you can only send those e-mails on purpose. But like i said i hope this helps, and you might want to try different network components and see if it just a bad connection.

Intel Pro/100 and PRO/1000 Network Driver. This is the driver you need for this model. You can download it right from the emachines web site.

Internet Won't Connect

Hello,
Press Start->Connect To -->Show all connections.
If the Local Area Connection icon is crossed with a red X, right click it and choose (Enable, or Repair).
If there is no Local Area Connection icon, you must create a connection.
In the left panel in Network Connection window click create new connection.
1.The wizard pops up
2.Click Next.
3.Put a (dot)mark in Connect to the Internet .
4.Click Next
5.Choose Set up my connection manually
6.Click Next Choose the type of connection you have with you ISPN (dial up, etc.)
7. Click Next , and follow the instruction from here.

Hope it helps you find your way to a solution

I need ethernet driver

It appears to be an Intel(R) Pro/100 VE Network if you don't have the driver disc you can download from the intel site.

Ethernet on DELL 4550 with TP-link doesn't work

Hi there,

pinging 127.0.0.1 just tells you that your network card is operational and reacheable by your system.

I have a couple of suggestions - check them out and let me know what you found out.

  • Go to Network Connections / Local Area Connection / General Tab / Properties / Internet Protocol (TCPIP) (from the list)/ Properties. Are all settings set to "Obtain automatacally..."?
  • Is your operating system Windows XP Home or Professional (with Service Pack 2 installed)?
  • Have you installed the AirPort Utility software that came on the CD? (Check Start > All Programs > AirPort)
  • You have to have the software installed in order to setup the router.
  • What is your internet connection: Cable or DSL?
  • Take a look at this document "Designing AirPort Networks" which is also on the CD that came with the device. If you don't have it, here is the download (link). Go to page 25 and follow the instructions for PPPoE (if you have DSL service) or DHCP (if you have cable service).

Let me know how that works for you and if you have any more questions, just come back here and leave a comment - I'm happy to look further into that if this did not work for you.

I am not able to connect to internet because i don't have ethernet controller therefore i need ethernet controller

The ethernet controller is a hardware device either as part of the motherboard -where you will have an RJ45 connector visible to you at the outside of the case -or as a Network Interface Card (NIC) which would be installed as a PCI card which has it's own RJ45 connector.
If yours is a driver problem you will need to specify which brand/model computer or NIC you have for a link to that manufacturer to download drivers from that site. If you encounter problems or have more specific information please post again here. Steve Medley

2 ethernet cards can't work together

If in your network you are connecting computers directly to a PC thru multiple nics and not a router or hub leaving one as server and the others as clients and that server is NT 4,0

NT 4,0 can not auto configure the cat5 cable and would need at least 1 cable to be a cross-over and not a patch.
