If you can not burn but can read a CD, that means your writer is no longer working. In this case you have to buy a new CD/DVD writer so that you can burn cd/dvd disc. Have a nice day.
By the way if you have the cd cleaner, run the cd cleaner in your cd drive for about 10 minutes and test for burning. Have a nice day.
1. not enough "free" disk-space on 'C:' to hold a copy of the files that you want to burn;
2. no CD-writer in your computer;
3. a broken CD-writer (does it _read_ CD's?);
4. no software (Nero, Sonic, AShampoo, etc.) that one uses to facilitate the whole task;
5. no "writable" media in your CD-writer device.
we may need more details but you can try this for now
1. are you sure you have a cd writer or a dvd writer (writer = burner)--- check the front edge of your cd/dvd unit and look for words like "writer" "burner" or writeable next to the word dvd or compact disc... keep in mind not all cd/dvd writer can write (burn) cd or dvds, some may burn cd but not dvds.
2. is your cd/dvd unit compatible with the media (cd or dvd blank disk) you are trying to use.. depending your cd/dvd especifications your dvd/cd drive is compatible with certain types of cd or dvds that are writeable.
3. is the cd/dvd a writeable cd/dvd and is compatible with your cd/dvd drive? for instance.. if you are using a blank dvd and your cd/dvd drive only burn cd/s and read dvd and cd you won't be able to write to the blank dvd.
4. are you trying to burn a dvd in a corporate computer.?? as a user (not an administrator) of your corporate computer you may not have priviledges that will allow them to burn dvd/cd's even you your drive and your media are compatible.
please post
the error that you get
the brand and model of the computer you're using
the type of media you're using
Do you mean to put pictures from computer to CD? You need a CD writer in your computer, and a software to burn the CD. Usually the software is already there if you have CD writer in your computer. Then, of course you need a CD blank. I assume you have CD writer in your computer. The procedure would depend on the software you have, but ... Try this simplest procedure, open the folder of the pictures you want to copy. Then highlight it, right click mouse --> copy. After put your CD blank in the drive, click my computer --> click CDRW drive (the drive of the CD or DVD writer). Right click --> paste. You will see the blurred files there. Then right click and choose "burn these file in CD". Just follow the instruction. Let me know if you have problem.
And the problem is... ?
