I have an HP Photosmart C7180 printer and I think some of the black inkjet spray nozzles are clogged. I get a horizontal streaked printout from the black head. I have tried everything. I have run the Clean Print Head routine about 10 times and nothing has changed. I tried sliding the printhead to the middle and adding some isopropyl alcohol to the cleaning pad underneath where the printhead parks itself and letting it soak itself. I also tried taking an empty cartridge, cleaning it out, adding isopropyl alcohol, installing and printing about 40 solid black pages to flush the nozzles. Nothing has helped. One website recommended taking a syringe full of alcohol and shooting it through the bottom hose/port to the printhead where the ink cartridge attaches to the printer. Does anyone have any experience doing this or any other recommendations? I'm not afraid of taking drastic or risky measures since my next step is to throw it away. Seems like such a waste, it was a good printer when it worked.
Inkjet printers need to be used frequently to prevent blocked print head nozzles. You may have blocked print head nozzles.
Try the printer maintenance to clear the printer nozzles.
After several deep cleaning attempts and there is no improvements in the print then a new print head is required. Also try - Removing the print head, run it under hot water for 2 mins, then let soak for 10 min. then used a can of compressed air to dry thoroughly. It may fix the blocked nozzles.
A new print head maybe expensive and it maybe more cost effective to purchase a new printer.

SOURCE: How do I manually clean
By manual you mean that it needs windows to clean it right? (you cannot physically clean it yourself) Go to your printers, right click and in properties somewhere you should find "clean heads" somewhere. Try print test after. Should be good.
