Depending on the specific circumstances, of course, the most likely culprit is the shuttle assembly. It could either be the motor in the assembly or the bearings in the shuttle assembly.
Put in hold mode. (Press Enable/Hold button)
Remove the shuttle cover assembly. (leave the screws in the cover itself when you remove it). On the middle-right side you will see a cover sensor -- you will need to fool this with a magnet.
Run a test print (Print Test button). (With the hood up/) Listen for the source of the noise. Is it the motor or the shuttle assembly bearings. (If the noise stops when you turn off test print and the motor is winding down then it is the shuttle assembly bearings.) Or is the noise elsewhere?
If elsewhere move around side to side to differentiate and locate the sound.

Please note that the motor itself is not really considered a separate field replaceable unit -- it is considered a part of the shuttle assembly. I only mentioned it separately above as part of the troubleshooting to consider the noise source.
