Question about Canon PIXMA MP530 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Hello to All
Does anyone know how to override the Canon mp530 printer warning when using generic inks - the ones where you re-use the puce from the original?
As well maybe how to be able to use the other printer functions i.e. scan and copy until the ink can be replaced? It seems with the ink warning nothing else will operate.
Thank you All for any ideas.
The solution is to press the button with the button with the triangle on it for five seconds (the reset button? I can't remember off the top of my head, but one of the main buttons). It switches off the warning system and the gauging system. The plus side is that you can reuse the cartridges indefinitely even if it has a chip in it, the downside is that the computer/printer will no longer tell you what level your ink is at.
