Hi my epson tm88iii wont print. it do receive data from the computer and dispense paper but the paper is empty without any prints. I guess the problem is in the thermal head? could it be the thermal head? what is the symptoms of a busted thermal head?

so you mean thats the replacement cartridge and after printing 10 prints it is now saying you have to change it, chances are that is a defective ink cartridge, you should get more prints from that replacement, here's what, call epson technical support at 562-276-1300 and have your proof of purchase ready and complain on this, they will send you a replacement, i mean they should. now if its going to happen on the replacement ink cart, that after 10 prints and it will say its empty then thats an issue with the printer already. update me regarding on it, but for now my best advice is to call epson. you have to get the exact page size of your continuous paper. then you go to start -> printer and faxis -> then go to file -> and server properties.then create one paper which is exact sixe of your paper. Then go to printer preferances and select that paper.
Epson 777 will not print. No paper jam. Power light flashing; red error light on steady. Paper does not feed; if paper supply is placed deeper in feed, entire paper supply (about 12 sheets) feeds thru as one sheet normally would , without printing.
