Chances are, there is some sort of utility doing this. If you can get to the Windows desktop (I will assume you are using Windows), look for an icon in your tray area that mentions something about graphics (for example, Intel Graphics' tray agent). Right click this, and somewhere in the options, there should be the ability to rotate the screen. If not, try right clicking the desktop, click properties, then go to the settings tab. Maybe the option appears somewhere in there, depending on your graphics chipset.

The hard part will, of course, be doing all of that upside down.

I have a HP compaq LE1911 and I work in a school and one of the students has turned the screen upside down.

It is probably the settings in the main graphics adapter.

Right click on the desk top and go to Properties-settings-advanced-then you sould see a link to you main graphics adapter( intel chipset, catalyst, nvidia, ect.)

In this adapter you sould have a display settings tab that will include screen rotaion.

Set your rotaion to 0 deg and apply the changes.

It might tvhat there are no video drivers on the PC or there screen resolution is too big or too low
Screen Resolution Issue

Windows XP

1. Click Start -> Control Panel -> Display
2. Display Properties should appear
3. Click on the Settings Tab
4. Slide the Bar to the Left or to the right Making the picture almost a square

Windows Vista/ Windows 7

1. Click Start -> Control Panel -> Personalization
2. Click on Screen Resolution
3. Move the bar up or down until the picture turns almost a square
Or else reinstall a new video driver configure the screen resolution again
Hope this helps

Hp w1907 has white screen in vga and dvi-changed computers doing same thing-tried another monitor and it works on both computers

The all white screen indicates loss of 5 VDC to the LCD panel. Either the connector is not plugged in good or (more likely) the panel itself had failed. They can develop a short that blows the 5 V fuse on the panel. Replacing the fuse normally does not fix the problem.

Monitor flickers and faint bands scroll down the

could be fixed by ajdusting the refresh rate....

you could try this (xp pro sp2)

please rate if useful, good luck

Open Display in Control Panel.
On the Settings tab, click Advanced.
On the Monitor tab, in the Refresh Frequency list, click a new refresh rate.

To open Display, click Start, click Control Panel, click Appearance and Themes, and then click Display.
  • The default refresh frequency setting is 100 Hertz, although your monitor may support a higher setting. Check your manufacturer's documentation for information regarding the settings your monitor supports.
  • A higher refresh frequency reduces any flicker on your screen, but choosing a setting that is too high for your monitor can make your display unusable and cause damage to your hardware.
  • Changes to the refresh frequency affect all users that log on to the computer.

My HP w1907 monitor less than a year old is turning pink!

A flickering screen with pink colour is a sign of a CCFL lamp problem.
The CCFL lamp is a mini fluro tube and it provides the back-lighting, it is definitely faulty and about to fail completely.
You need to get it repaired while it is still under warranty.
